Terms & Conditions

By downloading or using the app, these Terms and Conditions will automatically apply to you. Please ensure that you read them carefully before using the app. You are not permitted to copy or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way. You are not permitted to attempt to extract the source code of the app, nor should you attempt to translate the app into other languages or create derivative versions. The app itself, and all trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, remain the property of Shab.

Shab is committed to ensuring that the app is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the app or its services without making it clear to you exactly what you are paying for.

The Shab app stores and processes personal data that you have provided to us in order to provide our Service. It is your responsibility to keep your device and access to the app secure. We therefore recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your device. Jailbreaking or rooting is the process of removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. Doing so may make your device vulnerable to malware, viruses, or malicious programs; may compromise your device’s security features; and may cause the Shab app to malfunction or stop working entirely.

You should be aware that there are certain things that Shab will not be responsible for. Some functions of the app require an active internet connection. The connection may be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider; however, Shab cannot be responsible if the app does not function fully when you do not have access to Wi-Fi or you have exhausted your mobile data allowance.

If you use the app outside an area with Wi-Fi, please remember that the terms of your agreement with your mobile network provider will still apply. As a result, you may be charged by your mobile provider for data usage while accessing the app, as well as other third-party charges. By using the app, you accept responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges if you use the app outside of your home territory (i.e., region or country) without turning off data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you are using the app, please be aware that we assume you have obtained permission from the bill payer to use the app.

Similarly, Shab cannot always be responsible for the way you use the app. You need to ensure that your device remains charged. If your device runs out of battery and you cannot turn it on to access the Service, Shab cannot accept responsibility.

With respect to Shab’s responsibility for your use of the app, it is important to bear in mind that while we endeavor to ensure the app is updated and accurate at all times, we rely on third parties to provide certain information so that we can make it available to you. Shab accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, that you experience as a result of relying entirely on this functionality of the app.

From time to time, we may update the app. The app is currently available on Android; system requirements (and the requirements for any additional platforms we may support in the future) may change, and you will need to download updates if you want to continue using the app. Shab does not guarantee that it will always update the app so that it remains relevant to you and/or compatible with the Android version installed on your device. However, you agree to accept updates to the app when they are offered to you. We may also stop providing the app and may terminate your use of it at any time without notice. Unless we tell you otherwise, upon termination: (a) the rights and licenses granted to you under these Terms and Conditions will end; (b) you must stop using the app; and (c) if necessary, you must delete it from your device.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
